ABOUT DAISY

Daisy graduated with a double major in Psychology and Education from University of California Santa Barbara. She has been a tutor for the last 8 years and a teacher for the last 2 years. Her academic interest and research are focused in the motivational factors that help students become successful in academics which include resiliency, perseverance and social supports. She is an advocate of positive psychology and its application in schools. Daisy has also worked with students with disabilities to help them overcome there learning challenges and reach their academic goals. She believes that all students have the opportunity to learn with consistent guidance and support.
