ABOUT KATARINA
Katarina is a Junior at New York University Shanghai, majoring in Biology. Her academic and research interests are animal development and genetic disorders associated to changes in genomic makeup. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, she obtained an IB diploma at United World College in Mostar, where she took IB Biology and Psychology HL. She worked as a Cell Biology research assistant at NYU Shanghai, investigating the mechanism of chromosome segregation during mitosis. In her free time she enjoys reading scientific journals, such as Scientific American.
