ABOUT TUBA
Tuba is a senior at New York University Shanghai, intending to majoring in Economics with a minor in Business. She completed her A levels from an International School in Pakistan. Also, during her junior year of high school, she went for an exchange program to Connecticut, USA. She studied away at NYU Washington DC during junior year and is now back in Shanghai for her last year.
Tuba has studied in an English Medium International School since kindergarten and is well-versed in English. Tuba has previously taught IGCSE and IC economic students and help them prepare for their final exams. Her teaching methods include learning the concept and then understanding the practical application of the concept from real-life world examples. Teaching students with different educational background has given her needed experience to understand the need for different students.
Tuba has always been a passionate leader and has served at many leadership positions. During high school, she served as the President of the Student Council for two years. At NYU Shanghai, Tuba has served in Student Government, part of the Secretariat of NYU Shanghai MUNC and also is the Resident Assistant for the current academic year.
